Robin has a ‘holistic’ approach to coaching, working with singers on the physical and mental aspects of singing as well as vocal skills. Liz Rogers

LizRogersHeadshotLiz Rogers is the Creative Director at Anacrusis, and the Founder of The Nashville House.  Liz got her start in Nashville at Vanderbilt University, where she studied music performance, musical theatre, business, and education. With internships in marketing, licensing, and publishing, she got a job out of college doing song plugging for a small country publishing company. While there, she formed relationships with music supervisors and artist-writers, and eventually branched off to begin what is now Anacrusis.  Anacrusis officially launched in 2014 as a boutique publishing and licensing company focused on alternative artists.  Since then, Anacrusis has secured dozens of placements for emerging artists in Nashville, and their writers have several cuts on pop and alternative records.  In addition to the publishing, licensing and artist development that Anacrusis focuses on, Liz also is an independent music supervisor and has worked on several films and documentaries.  In 2017, Liz founded The Nashville House, an official event at SXSW featuring 25 emerging Nashville alternative artists and 10 Nashville brands, highlighting the pop, rock, and alternative scene in Nashville.  Liz is an Advisor at the Entrepreneur Center, on the Board of the Music Committee of the Nashville Film Festival, and an Adjunct Artist Teacher at her alma mater, Vanderbilt University.

A Song Co-Writing Session (via Skype) with Multi-Platinum Country Artist/  Songwriter Miqael “Hicks” 

hicksSwedish country rock artist, Hicks has released his single and video, “Stomp A Little Louder.” The track, penned by Hicks and Steve Wariner, features both Steve and his son, Ryan. Steve also makes a cameo appearance in the video. In 2014, Hicks became the first Swedish country artist to hit the Music Row Top 80 published chart with his debut US release, “Hayride.” Hicks also became the first Swede to place his first 3 single releases in the New Music Weekly Top 15. Hicks (Miqael Persson) is an accomplished songwriter from the south of Sweden, with multiple Gold and Platinum records to his credit. His rock-edged songs have been recorded by artists like Jimi Jamison (Survivor), Giant (Dann Huff), Bobby Kimball (Toto), Little River Band, W.E.T. (Featuring Jeff Scott Soto), Toby Hitchcock, Smokie, Eclipse and Grammy winner, Barbados.  He has also written with Nashville heavy-hitters like Anthony Smith, Dallas Rogers, Dennis Morgan, Randy Goodrum, Sharon Vaughn and Swedish hit-writers Jorgen Elofsson, Peter Kvint, Erik Martensson and many more. Now, Hicks has combined his chart-topping songwriting chops with those of country music legend, Steve Wariner on the brand new single release, “Stomp A Little Louder.”  The new single from Hicks featuring Ryan and Steve Wariner is being released to country radio on October 12th via MTS Records. In addition to co-writing the song, Steve Wariner plays guitar on the track, while his son, Ryan is featured on slide guitar. The video was produced in cooperation with GASP/Better Bodies, the clothing line that Hicks wears in his music videos and on stage. It was shot on location at, a destination in Dallas, Texas. In the video, Hicks works out with professional body builders, fitness girls, and athletes from all areas of expertise. Steve Wariner also makes a cameo appearance in the just-released video at“The message of the song applies to life, in general,” said Hicks. “Whatever you want out of life..Stomp A Little Louder, to get it!”Hicks was the 2013 British CMA Awards’ Euro Act of the Year, a 2015 Indie Music Channel Awards winner, an Akademia Award Winner, and an Independent Country Music Association Award Winner.
